Cookie Policy

Effective date: 16 October 2026

A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store and send back on later visits, so that the site can recognise the same browser over time. Similar technologies do the same job by other means: browser storage such as localStorage and sessionStorage, databases such as IndexedDB, tiny invisible images called tracking pixels, and fingerprinting, which identifies a browser from the combination of its settings rather than from anything stored.

What we checked

Cookies set by this site
Not used. plainpulse.online sets no cookies of its own, for any purpose, including preferences and session identifiers.
Cookies set by others through this site
Not used. No third party is given the opportunity to set a cookie here, because no third-party content is loaded on any page.
localStorage
Not used. Nothing is written to it by any page or script on this site.
sessionStorage
Not used. Nothing is written to it either.
IndexedDB
Not used. No database is created in your browser.
Tracking pixels
Not used. There are no images loaded from other domains, and no invisible ones of any kind.
Browser fingerprinting
Not used. No script collects fonts, canvas output, screen characteristics or anything else for identification.
Web fonts and third-party scripts
Not used. Typefaces come from the ones already on your device, and the only script is a short first-party file that runs the menu button and the print button.
Server access logs
Used. Our hosting provider records ordinary web server log entries for requests to this site. This is the only item on the list that happens.

Why there is no consent banner

Consent banners exist so that a site can ask permission before setting something that needs permission. This site sets nothing, so there is nothing to ask about. Showing a banner here would imply that a choice exists, and that would be untrue. If you have arrived expecting one, its absence is the point rather than an oversight.

What does happen when you load a page

Your browser requests the page from our hosting provider's server, which returns the HTML, one stylesheet and one small script, all from plainpulse.online. The server writes a log entry: your IP address, the date and time, the URL requested, the referring page if your browser sent one, and the user-agent string. Those logs are kept for 30 days and are used for security, abuse prevention and fault diagnosis. That is the complete list of what happens.

The checklists do not remember your ticks

The boxes on the checklists are drawn with CSS on a printed page. They are not form controls, they cannot be clicked, and nothing records them. We use no localStorage, no sessionStorage, no IndexedDB, no fingerprinting and no pixels to remember where you are up to in the course. If you want to keep a record of what you have done, print the checklists page and use a pen.

After you follow an affiliate link

Our affiliate links lead to World of Tanks. Once you leave plainpulse.online, that site and the affiliate network that operates the link may set cookies or use similar technology on their own domains, typically to record which site referred you. EAS company s.r.o. does not control those technologies, cannot switch them off, and does not receive information identifying you from them. Read those parties' own cookie and privacy notices if you want the detail.

Blocking or clearing cookies generally

Nothing here needs to be blocked, but the controls are worth knowing. Every major browser has a privacy or content-settings section where you can see stored cookies and site data, delete them for one site or all sites, block cookies from third parties, and clear everything on exit. Browsers also offer a private or incognito window, which discards cookies and storage when the window closes. The browser's own help pages describe where these controls sit in your version.

If this ever changes

If this site ever needs a cookie, this page will be rewritten to describe it — what it is called, what it does and how long it lasts — and a working consent mechanism will be in place before any cookie is set. We will not introduce one quietly and amend the wording afterwards.
