Affiliate Disclosure

Effective date: 16 October 2026

This site has one source of income, and this page describes all of it.

The arrangement

Plain Pulse is published by EAS company s.r.o. Several pages carry links to the World of Tanks sign-up page. Those links carry a code telling the affiliate network which site sent you.

If you follow one and go on to create and activate an account, the network pays EAS company s.r.o. a commission for that sign-up. That is the only thing here that earns money: no advertising, no sponsored writing, no paid placement, no subscription, nothing for sale.

What it costs you

Nothing. The commission is paid by the network out of its own arrangement with the advertiser. Following the link does not change what anything costs you, what you are offered, or what you are committed to, and you can reach the same destination without us by typing the publisher's address yourself.

Where the links are

  • On the homepage, in the section explaining where World of Tanks appears in the course.
  • At the end of each of the five step pages, after the step's checklist.
  • At the end of the all-checklists page.

Each is marked twice over. It is an ordinary link to the destination, so your browser's status bar shows where it goes before you click. And beside it sits a line saying it is a paid affiliate link and what triggers the commission. There are no redirects, interstitials, pop-ups or scripts that change where a link goes.

What the commission does not decide

The commission does not decide what the five steps say, which checks the checklists ask you to run, how demanding those checks are, which products are named, or the order of anything.

The evidence is in the course. Step 1 explains how these games produce revenue from your time as well as your money. Step 3 sends you to the publisher's terms, including the parts on randomised paid items and account suspension. Step 4 tells you not to save a payment method and to buy nothing for a month. Step 5 is partly a guide to leaving.

What does decide the content

Three things, in this order.

What a beginner actually has to decide, in order. The five steps follow the real sequence — business model, hardware, paperwork, account, ongoing habits — rather than one that moves someone towards a sign-up quickly.

Whether a reader can verify it. Every claim had to pass one test to be included: could you check this yourself? That rule is why the course carries no benchmark figures, no performance claims and no comparative scoring, and why it links to the Australian Classification Board, the ACCC, the ACSC, Scamwatch, the eSafety Commissioner and the OAIC rather than paraphrasing them at length.

Whether the page is still worth reading with the link removed. That is the working editorial test. If deleting the affiliate link would leave a page with nothing to say, the page is advertising rather than teaching, and it does not get published.

What we say about the game itself

World of Tanks is the single concrete example of the category, and it runs on desktop computers — Windows, macOS and Linux. Beyond that, the course does not repeat the vendor's claims about its own product; where you want that detail, the vendor's site is the place to read it.

This site is not the official site for that game, is not operated by its publisher, and is not an authorised, partnered or endorsed source. It is an independent publication with a commercial link, which is why this page exists.

Trade marks

All brand names on Plain Pulse, World of Tanks among them, are the property of their owners. Except for the paid affiliate links described on our funding page, none of those owners is affiliated with Plain Pulse, and none has endorsed or sponsored it.

Privacy, and what the network sees

Following an affiliate link takes you off plainpulse.online. The destination site and the network may then use cookies or similar technology on their own domains to record the referral, under their own policies. We receive commission reports used only to reconcile payments, and seek no information identifying individual readers. The Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy set this out in full.

If you would rather not

Then do not follow the links. Every step, every checklist and the printable sheet work exactly the same without them, and the course is designed on that assumption. Telling you that plainly is the whole purpose of this page.

More on how the course is made

The About page sets out the editorial method: how the course was structured, what each step relies on, how often it is reviewed, and the same statement of the commercial relationship.
